  • Sign in to your Samsung account first. In case you don’t have the same, create one. It hardly takes 2 minutes in doing so.
  • You need to make sure that you have followed all the instructions displayed on the device screen.
  • After this, you need to register your fingerprint or your PIN. This is necessary for payment security and authentication. Samsung highly recommends users to go for fingerprint option over preferring a PIN. This is because it’s more secure and wouldn’t create identity issues when it comes to using Samsung Pay services on Galaxy Note 8.
  • There is nothing much you need to do for registering for the fingerprint. Open Samsung Pay and tap on “Use FingerPrint”. This will begin the process and you can register your fingerprint by following all the instructions.
  • If you prefer PIN over fingerprint, simply tap on the skip option and choose “Samsung Pay PIN” post which you need to select a 4 digit pin of your choice. Remember it for all future transactions.
  • Next is to add the details of your card on Samsung Pay. You are free to integrate your Samsung Pay account with 10 cards.
  • For this, simply click on “Add Debit/Credit card”. Your Galaxy Note 8 will open a camera on the app and you just need to place your card under it. All the details of the card would be fetched automatically. It is possible to enter the details manually too. It must be noted that you need to add some information manually even if you choose this automatic approach. This includes your address, name, verification code etc.
  • The final step is to complete the registration process by entering the OTP that will actually integrate your card with Samsung Pay. You can now use your Samsung Pay account to shop anything online. Enjoy!

Samsung Pay is a secure approach that you can trust without worrying about anything. One of the best things is the trader from whom you are buying doesn’t get the details of your card. This is exactly what that provides an additional layer of security.

I hope you have successfully enabled Samsung Pay on Galaxy Note 8 smartphone.
