Here’s a close-up look at Captain Marvel’s future suit in Avengers: Endgame, and a detailed look at Pepper Potts’ Rescue armor. Most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe came together last year in Avengers: Infinity War to try and defeat Thanos, but after half of them were turned to dust by the Mad Titan, it was only at the end of Avengers: Endgame that nearly every hero stood side by side. This included some of the oldest characters in the MCU, and the fresher faces, such as Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers.

She only just made her debut in Captain Marvel in March, but the film became a box office hit, to the tune of over $1 billion, and introduced her as a cornerstone of the MCU moving forward. Many were surprised to then see how little screen time Captain Marvel actually had in Avengers: Endgame. But even in a smaller role, she was one of the most important. She saved Tony Stark and Nebula in space, protected the entire galaxy during a state of chaos, and then returned to nearly overpower Thanos at the end.

Throughout all of these different scenes, Carol also was sporting brand new looks. She started Avengers: Endgame with the same new costume she had in the post-credits scene from Captain Marvel, and then debuted another new look after the time jump. It wasn’t until she came back for the final fight though that she was fully suited up in this costume with her helmet. Thanks to a new post from Marvel DC Nation on Instagram, a statue of this costume that’s on display provides a close-up look at the suit. Additionally, Reddit user LooksLikeVespa shared another image from the same location, which also featured Pepper Potts’ Rescue armor.

In just the span of a few months and two appearances, Captain Marvel has already had many different looks in the MCU. She began with a green suit thanks to her days as a member of the Kree military Starforce unit, but then used the custom settings of the suit to ditch this look once she no longer wanted to be associated with them. This is where a young Monica Rambeau helped pick the red, blue, and gold color scheme that she’s had since. This future suit is almost an inverted design, with the torso being prominently red, while her shoulders are now blue, with the same yellow accents. But, this new suit also is the first to see Carol wear the sash around her waist.

Since Carol’s suit has the ability to change colors at her will, there will be no shortages of opportunities for her look to evolve even more in the future. It also leaves fans in the dark on how she will look whenever she appears next, as the setting of her return could determine this. Another solo film could take place before her return in Avengers: Endgame and see her back in the prior costume, while it could just as easily take place in the now 2023 present day of the MCU, and continue to see Carol wear this new design.
